Denver, CO — June 15, 2025 — As the world of work continues to evolve, students need more than credentials to succeed. They need the confidence to communicate, the self-awareness to understand their strengths, and the adaptability to navigate change. To advance this important conversation, the Foundation for Talent Transformation participated in NACE 2026, joining with colleges, employers, and workforce leaders to strengthen pathways from education to meaningful employment.

Today, employability extends far beyond academic qualifications. While technical knowledge remains important, the skills that help learners stand out, secure opportunities, succeed in their roles, and continue growing throughout their careers often include confidence, adaptability, self-awareness, communication, and real-world interpersonal competencies.
The Foundation for Talent Transformation shared its free psychometric assessments and AI coaching tools as practical resources for helping students and emerging professionals better understand themselves, develop essential human skills, and prepare for the demands of modern work.
“Career readiness is not only about helping students get a job,” said Eric Shepherd, executive director of the Foundation for Talent Transformation. “It is about helping them understand who they are, how they work with others, and how they can continue growing throughout their careers.”
The Foundation connected with career coaches, colleges, employers, and training partners to discuss practical ways to support learners as they transition from college to career. Through its free resources, including the My Talents App, psychometric assessments, and AI coaches, the Foundation supports learners in developing the self-awareness and interpersonal capabilities that can help them stand out, succeed in the workplace, and continue evolving as professionals.
