Foundation for Talent Transformation Brings Free Workforce Readiness Resources to Raising the Bar 2026
BALTIMORE, MD — September 24, 2026 — Preparing people for work is becoming more complex. Jobs are changing, technology is reshaping the workplace, and employers are demanding new skills. At the 2026 Raising the Bar Conference, the Foundation for Talent Transformation introduced free, ready-to-use resources including assessments, online courses, and AI-powered coaching to help organizations strengthen participant support without building new programs from scratch.
Hosted by the Maryland Workforce Association, Raising the Bar brought together workforce, education, and training professionals to explore challenges, share ideas, and strengthen support for job seekers, young adults, and communities.
The free resources include:
Assessments — Helping individuals better understand their career interests, values, career readiness, communication styles, emotional intelligence, digital literacy, and other capabilities that influence workplace success.
Online Courses — Offering practical, self-paced learning in areas such as interviewing, communication, critical thinking, professional presence, teamwork, taking initiative, AI literacy, and workplace effectiveness.
AI Coaches — Providing personalized support to help individuals reflect on what they have learned, explore possibilities, build confidence, set goals, and take meaningful next steps.
The Foundation’s participation in Raising the Bar also coincided with Workforce Development Month, creating a timely opportunity to recognize the professionals and organizations working every day to help people develop skills, find opportunities, and build sustainable careers.
“Workforce organizations are doing more than helping people find jobs; they are helping them adapt, grow, and prepare for what comes next,” said Eric Shepherd, executive director of the Foundation for Talent Transformation. “We want to support that work with free, practical resources that can help participants build the skills, confidence, and self-awareness they need to succeed.”
Throughout the conference, attendees explored the Foundation’s resources, discussed how they could complement existing programs, and learned how free assessments, learning experiences, and AI-powered coaching support participant success.
